TEDxSoleburySchool 2016: Carol Wright

Carol is a senior at 韦德娱乐app下载地址. She is a part of a two-year program called Teach2Serve whose mission is to educate and inspire high school students who want to change the world. During the first year of Teach2Serve, Carol and her cohort organized a water fair to teach the Solebury community about the negative effects of plastic water bottles on the environment, 海洋生物和人类. During her senior year of high school, Carol launched an online magazine called Nyota that focuses on showcasing emerging 人才 in the fields of music, 时尚与文化. 为了她的终极项目, Carol decided to add a segment to her magazine that showcases inspiring young adults who are making a change in their communities. The hope is that this will inspire Nyota’s readers to make positive change in their communities as well.
